Coffee Staining

There are many ways to stain fabric, I use coffee. It’s actually very simple to do and after doing it once, you’ll want to stain everything lol.

Step 1. Make a fresh pot of strong coffee. (Many ways. Again, this is only how I do it.)

Step 2. Stop your sink up, place your fabric you want to stain inside.

Step 3. Pour coffee over fabric.

Step 4. I usually will leave it set for about 20-30 minutes, but if you want it darker, leave it longer.

Step 5. Wring the fabric out.

Step 6. Put in dryer to dry.

Step 7. Enjoy your newly stained fabric.

*Cheesecloth will look very differently textured out of the dryer. You can stretch out very easily and get it back into its normal shape and texture. Don’t think you’ve ruined it!

**For added staining, between steps 5 and 6, splash vanilla extract randomly in places.
